Collective Worship

Serving God in Our School Community

Collective worship occupies an important part of our life as a church school.  A weekly theme based around the Exeter Diocesan Guideline is presented by teachers with the active participation of the pupils.  It provides an opportunity for all of us to pause from activity and take time for reflection.  Hymns, stories, drama & prayer are included and together we are reminded about the beliefs and values that bind us together as a school with a church foundation.

Parents are very welcome to attend our Family Collective Worship on Thursday mornings at 9.15am in Tipton St John Church, which is often led by our vicar.

Parents may request that their child is withdrawn wholly or partly from acts of worship.  Any such requests should be discussed with the Head of School first and then be put in writing.
